Building winning GPP lineups, by definition, is tough. There are, however, some key things to look for when filling out your roster. First and foremost is ceiling, we want the players with potential to score the most points. Next is leverage, we want the players that fall through the cracks. Finally, we have to build a lineup that tells a winning story through game script and stacking.

A final note before diving into the picks. Don’t ignore the Cash Picks article put out by Matt Savoca. His article pairs perfectly with my GPP picks article, as it’s typically a good idea to mix in some value plays, especially if they fit the GPP-winning story you write. I will be referencing it multiple times this week.
Quarterbacks
Dak Prescott @ ATL – $8,100
With the highest over/under and GPS of the week, the showdown in Mercedes-Benz Stadium is a game to target. While Kirk Cousins makes sense as a cash option, give me Dak in tournaments. He’s averaging the second-most pass attempts per game and I can’t imagine that number drops with the Cowboys entering the game as three-point underdogs with a lackluster running game. Atlanta ranks 22nd in schedule-adjusted points given up to quarterbacks while allowing the highest completion percentage in the league. Stacking Dak with a pass catcher or two and bringing it back with your Falcon of choice on the other side makes a lot of sense in tournaments this week.
