For this article, I’ll be highlighting plays that I believe have upside for large field GPPs at reduced roster percentages, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sprinkle in some cash plays into our GPP lineups as well. In fact, most of the best tournament lineups feature a combination of high-rostered and lower-rostered plays. For our full breakdown on DraftKings for Week 4 cash games, be sure to check out our boy Matthew Betz’s DraftKings cash picks here.
When building your GPP lineups, be sure to reference our Roster Percentage Report as well as our DFS Rankings to identify plays that have a solid projection yet may be undervalued by the field. To compete in GPPs, we’ll want to utilize a combination of cash plays and GPP plays to build solid lineups without sacrificing too much in the way of projection. Quarterbacks
Jalen Hurts | $6,700 | @ TB | pOwn: 5 – 10%
Hurts enters Week 4 with 32 rushing attempts for the fourth-most among QBs, and his four rushing scores lead the position. Despite that dominance, he isn’t priced among the top three QBs, sitting at just $6.7k. Through three games, he’s averaged nearly 40 rushing yards per contest while maintaining a 71% completion rate and three passing TDs. Notably, most of the passing success came last weekend in a game that was actually competitive for the Birds (Weeks 1 & 2 were walkthroughs, so the air game went stale). This matchup features two undefeated teams at 3-0, with Tampa Bay ranking just 22nd in defensive EPA/play. His dual-threat profile and red-zone rushing equity (there’s a play called the ‘tush push’ that’s gaining popularity) make this an easy click at sub-10% ownership.
