For the purposes of this article, I’ll be highlighting plays that I believe have upside for large field GPPs at reduced roster percentages, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sprinkle in some cash plays into our GPP lineups as well. In fact, most of the best tournament lineups feature some combination of high rostered plays as well as lower rostered plays. For my full breakdown on DraftKings for Week 14 cash games, be sure to check out my DraftKings cash picks here.
When building your GPP lineups, be sure to reference our Roster Percentage Report as well as our DFS Rankings in order to identify plays who have a solid projection yet may be undervalued by the field. In order to compete in GPPs, we’ll want to utilize a combination of cash plays and GPP plays in order to build solid lineups without sacrificing too much in the way of projection. Quarterbacks
Tua Tagovailoa $6,300 vs. NYJ
Since Tua returned to the lineup in Week 8, the Dolphins are scoring 27 points per game (8th), and their games are 4-2 to the over. Now, they catch a Jets D that’s likely down Sauce Gardner (hamstring) that quite frankly, has been terrible since they let Robert Saleh go. Seven of the last eight teams to play the Jets have exceeded their team total, and in that sample, their defense ranks 31st (!!) in EPA per play with only the Jags ranking worse in that sample. If the Dolphins put up points here, Tua is likely to be a big reason why, and all of his stacking partners as of Friday are projected for less than 11%.
