Week 10 was a pretty quiet week for weather. Having more than half the games indoors will help make weather an overall non-factor (unless you are the Cowboys and you have to worry about the sun in your eyes, get some curtains, Jerry!).
There are quite a few more outside games this weekend, so read ahead and see what Mother Nature has in store for your fantasy team!
Early Afternoon Games
Green Bay Packers @ Chicago Bears
MEDIUM impact. Similar to last week, there will be some increased winds throughout Chicago that may cause some issues with the kickers. Sustained speeds will be in the high single digits with gusts up to the lower 20s. If you plan on playing any of this game’s QBs or WRs, you don’t need to worry about the winds but if you have an alternative for kickers it may be worth a look.
Minnesota Vikings @ Tennessee Titans
LOW impact. Expect it to be an overall beautiful day in Nashville. Sunny skies, light winds. and high temperatures during game time will be in the low 70s.
Las Vegas Raiders @ Miami Dolphins
MEDIUM impact. It will be an overall good day in Miami, just keep an eye on the winds. Sustained winds will be in the low teens with gusts into the low 20s. Don’t bench any of your quarterbacks or receivers based on the forecast, just keep in mind that kickers (especially from a long distance) will be more likely to be impacted by those winds. No rain and mostly cloudy skies expected throughout game time with temps in the low 80s.
Los Angeles Rams @ New England Patriots
LOW impact. It’s going to be a great day in Foxborough. Sunny skies, light winds, and temperatures in the low 60s.
Baltimore Ravens @ Pittsburgh Steelers
LOW impact. Thankfully no weather will impact this game. Mostly cloudy skies, no rain, and winds in low single digits. Start all your studs!
Indianapolis Colts @ New York Jets
LOW impact. Another beautiful weather game. Sunny skies, light winds, and temperatures in the mid-60s.
Afternoon Games
Atlanta Falcons @ Denver Broncos
LOW impact. It will be a nice afternoon in Denver with sunny skies, no rain, light winds, and temperatures in the mid-50s. Weather won’t be a factor in this game.
Seattle Seahawks @ San Francisco 49ers
MEDIUM impact. There will be some rain around the area during game time with rain chances sitting at 60%. Even though it will be raining, it’s not shaping up to be a heavy amount so I’m not expecting high impacts throughout the game. Winds will be light and temperatures will be in the upper 50s. Start all your studs.
Kansas City Chiefs @ Buffalo Bills
LOW impact. I gotta tell you, if the weather was going to impact this game, I was ready to do an anti-rain dance or sacrifice some farm animals or something. Luckily, none of that will be necessary. Expect great conditions for this game: mostly cloudy with temperatures in the mid-50s, no rain, and winds in the single digits. Kick back and enjoy the game!
Weather is a dynamic thing and can change! Keep an eye on your local weather source leading up to kickoff to see if anything changes significantly. Good luck!
