What’s up, Footclan! Week 10 is here, and I’m coming in with confidence after building a strong lineup last week. At this stage in the season, we’re not just guessing—we’re making informed calls with data and trends on our side. We know exactly which defenses are the real deal and which ones we can attack.
This week’s 10-game slate is packed with opportunities, including the highly anticipated season debut of Christian McCaffrey. With injuries shaking things up across the league, we’re looking at some solid value plays to plug into our lineups. The trick is finding that perfect mix: reliable core players to anchor our roster and a few high-upside pivots to push us to the top.
Let’s keep riding the momentum, stay sharp, and build a lineup that’s ready to dominate!
Tournament Takes
Each week I’ll discuss my favorite stacks to utilize in large-field tournaments, ways to gain leverage on the field, and any other slate-specific thoughts.
Game of the Week – 49ers @ Buccaneers (SF -6.5, O/U 50.5)
The Niners come in as seven-point favorites, and the over/under is set at a solid 50.5, setting the stage for what could be a high-scoring showdown.
And speaking of Christian McCaffrey—he’s finally back! I think I speak for everyone when I say we’re all just excited to see him hit the field. At $8,000, though, I’m hesitant to lock him in for DFS right out of the gate. With questions about his workload in his season debut, it might be wiser to take a wait-and-see approach rather than committing to his price tag immediately. But it’s a relief to see the McCaffrey saga reach its conclusion, and we’ll see how the 49ers plan to utilize him in this high-stakes matchup.
