Every week the First Look article gives you a taste of the slate and some of the more intriguing salaries that DraftKings and FanDuel release. The goal is to identify early-week cash game considerations, as well as potential tournament plays before we piece together the stacking options. On Tuesdays, I share some of these insights on the Fantasy Footballers DFS & Betting Podcast if you want further commentary on some of the salary standouts.

Here are the games for this week’s main slate* including team-implied totals (TIP) for each matchup.
Overview
For newcomers, the main slate for DFS includes the Sunday early (1:00 EST) and afternoon games (4:25 EST). At first glance, here are a couple of things to note:
- Off the Main Slate: WAS, PHI, CIN, LAC, HOU, DAL
- Bye Week Teams: ARI, CAR, NYG, TB
- The international games are officially over and with four teams on bye, Week 11 offers us an 11-game slate with eight games in the early window but the SEA/SF game in the late window currently sporting the highest total.
Quarterbacks
- Lamar Jackson ($8000) is the betting favorite for MVP and he’s been nothing but dynamite for fantasy purposes. However, it worth pointing out that he’s NEVER scored 20+ DK points in four career starts against his division rival.
- There was a time when Josh Allen ($7800) versus Patrick Mahomes ($6800) was a legitimate fantasy football question. Allen will be without a ton of weapons and Mahomes is cheap enough now where double-stacking him as a road underdog makes sense. He’s averaged 300.2 passing yards per game on the road in his career.
Since 1980, we've had 19 teams start the season 9-0.
