For the purposes of this article, I’ll be highlighting plays that I believe have upside for large field GPPs at reduced roster percentages, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sprinkle in some cash plays into our GPP lineups as well. In fact, most of the best tournament lineups feature some combination of high rostered plays as well as lower rostered plays. For my full breakdown on DraftKings for Week 10 cash games, be sure to check out my DraftKings cash picks here.
When building your GPP lineups, be sure to reference our Roster Percentage Report as well as our DFS Rankings in order to identify plays who have a solid projection yet may be undervalued by the field. In order to compete in GPPs, we’ll want to utilize a combination of cash plays and GPP plays in order to build solid lineups without sacrificing too much in the way of projection. Quarterbacks
Jayden Daniels $7,500 vs. PIT
I love taking shots on high upside ceiling plays who aren’t going to be played in GPPs just because they don’t fit “the cash build.” We’re projecting guys like Purdy, Darnold and Herbert to be popular at QB this week with most of the field looking to spend down. One way to get contrarian is to flip the build and spend up for a guy like Daniels, who’s already banked DK scores this year of 28.2, 28.1, 25.0, 20.7, 21.0 and 25.2. This is not an easy matchup against a stout Pittsburgh D, but on a small slate, I like trying to find QBs who can really separate, and Daniels fits the bill. Worth noting, Pittsburgh’s QB schedule has been insanely easy, facing Kirk Cousins in his first game off the Achilles, Bo Nix, Justin Herbert battling a high ankle sprain, Anthony Richardson/Flacco, Dak and the dysfunctional Dallas offense, Aidan O’Connell, Aaron Rodgers and Daniel Jones.
