Welcome to the FanDuel cash game breakdown for Week 6 of the 2024 NFL season. Like last week, a few game environments stand out as clear go-to spots, but we also have some stud flex players who are starting to look like every-week cash considerations regardless of matchup. As a reminder, FanDuel has continued to offer the Sunday night game on its main slate, and that opens the door for late-swap opportunities, which can be crucial for both minimizing risk and maximizing upside. And like every week, our goal is to solidify our rosters with high-opportunity players in matchups that could provide opportunities for both high floor and ceiling. I’m leaning toward running back at flex once again this week.

Quarterbacks
Lamar Jackson – $9500
This week, we have the luxury of reaching up for one of the top-tier quarterbacks, and the matchup for Jackson looks juicy. Jackson has been his usual self as a rusher, averaging 10.6 rush attempts per game (second among QBs), and has found the end zone twice on the ground. But unlike in seasons past, as a passer he’s been productive as well, throwing for nine touchdowns (fourth most in the NFL). The Ravens’ offense is also up to league average in pass attempts and air yards per game, so with Jackson’s dual-threat volume remaining the same, he now has unmatched weekly upside in shootouts. Against a Washington defense that is ranked 26th in yards per play allowed and bottom 12 in fantasy points given up to QBs (and with an offense that can score plenty themselves), Jackson offers the highest floor/ceiling combo on the slate in a plus-matchup.
