Monday – Week 6 Studs & Duds + Fantasy Outliers

Monday Punday

Tyler “Shough Norris,” Germier Ber-Nard Dog, Matthew Golden Boy, and Emeka Eg-Booyah were some of the best performers of Week 6. Unfortunately, Generic Henry, Irritable Bowers Syndrome, Cam Skattepoo, and Heinous Winston underperformed.

Bank on it Smartly

Tyrone Tracy Jr.

Cam Skattebo was benched for fumbling issues in Week 6, and Tyrone Tracy Jr. benefited most. Tracy Jr. scored 17.5 half-PPR points on nine opportunities. Andy and Jason think you cannot bank on any New York Giants RB.

Tre Tucker

Kirk Cousins compared Tre Tucker to DeSean Jackson in his post-game press conference. Jason’s start of the week scored on a 44-yard TD in the 4th quarter to propel himself into finishing as the WR2 on the week. However, Jason believes Tucker’s a matchup play, and you should not bank on weekly consistency.

Omar Cooper Jr.

Jets first-round rookie WR Omar Cooper Jr. was taken off IR with a high-ankle sprain and immediately produced. The New York Jets’ depth chart clears after Garrett Wilson and Cooper Jr. Mike and Jason believe you can bank on Cooper Jr. to see consistent opportunity.

News

Jalen Hurts is expected to miss the rest of the season after blood clots traveled to his lungs. Josh Jacobs has been removed from the Commissioner’s Exempt List. Davante Adams left the 4th quarter with a hamstring injury. Ladd McConkey suffered a concussion going into the bye week.

Studs of the Week

QBs

Trevor Lawrence ended Week 6 as the QB1. He threw for 306 yards and four TDs before his Week 7 bye. Tyler Shough finished right behind him with 27 points in four-point passing leagues, and now sits as the QB4 on the season. Drake Maye, Michael Penix Jr., and C.J. Stroud rounded out the top-five QBs on the week.

RBs

Kenneth Walker III has carried the torch of the Year of Mike and finished as Week 6’s RB1. He currently sits as the RB2 on the season, despite already passing his bye week. James Cook III finished as this week’s RB2 and is on pace for 2,000 scrimmage yards. AFC South RBs Bhayshul Tuten and Jonathan Taylor both finished in the top-five RBs.

WRs

Malik Nabers looked like his pre-injury self with 15 targets, 12 receptions, and 165 receiving yards, with the majority of his production after J.J. McCarthy entered the game. Speedster starts of the week Tre Tucker and Matthew Golden dominated in Week 6. Rookies Germie Bernard and Omar Cooper Jr. showed why their teams spent high draft capital on them in Week 6, both finishing as top-six WRs.

TEs

Isaiah Likely caught six passes for 99 yards and a TD in Week 6, and now leads all TEs in scoring this season. Kyle Pitts Sr. benefitted from garbage time and scored two TDs against the Chicago Bears. Colston Loveland finally showed off why fantasy managers were so high on him in the offseason, and scored 14.5 first-half fantasy points before the Bears’ game script flipped.

Duds

QBs

Dak Prescott, Patrick Mahomes, and Bo Nix were the biggest disappointments of Week 6. Prescott attempted 54 passes, but was never able to find a rhythm against the Green Bay Packers. Nix’s aDOT in the second half was behind the line of scrimmage.

RBs

Cam Skattebo did not see the field in Week 6. Bijan Robinson only saw 11 opportunities against the Bears and finished with -8 receiving yards. Derrick Henry had his first game without a TD this season, and fumbled the game away for the Baltimore Ravens. Rhamondre Stevenson, Bucky Irving, Tyler Allgeier, and Omarion Hampton all had inefficient games on the ground in Week 6.

WRs

A.J. Brown saw 10 targets in his return from a high-ankle sprain, but only caught three passes for 27 yards. Michael Wilson’s production dipped despite Marvin Harrison Jr.’s departure. Josh Downs went 4/40 in Week 6, and Andy officially declared the Downs experiment is over; he will not break out this season.

TEs

Juwan Johnson and Darren Waller had donuts with two targets against the Giants and Eagles in Week 6. Harold Fannin Jr. barely outperformed them with one catch for nine yards.

Tuesday – Week 7 Waivers + Rookie WR Rundown

News

Terry McLaurin suffered a season-ending knee injury against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football. Jacory Croskey-Merritt was placed on IR before MNF. Mike Evans’ Achilles issues continued, but his Achilles is still intact. The Giants released Najee Harris. Davante Adams is expected to miss 6-10 weeks with his hamstring injury. Tank Dell will return to the NFL field after missing the entirety of the 2025 NFL season with a torn ACL, MCL, and LCL. Zach Charbonnet and Jordan Mason could return this week. Romeo Doubs was placed on IR after suffering a shoulder injury on a 42-yard TD catch.

Waiver Wire

RBs

Jordan Mason is at the top of the RB list for the Ballers this week. He is rostered in two-thirds of leagues; he may be available if there is no IR slot. Kendre Miller and Roschon Johnson are RBs who Jason considered decent plays with injuries ahead of them. Tyrone Tracy Jr. is another solid pickup if you need someone who has a chance for an increased role.

WRs

The majority of the waiver wire suggestions for the Ballers this week were rookies. Germie Bernard has probably been picked up in your league, but he is the best player who was mentioned on the waiver show. Omar Cooper Jr. is worth a pickup in your league, but Andy thinks the New York Jets target distribution could prevent Cooper Jr. from being a consistent play. Jordyn Tyson is traveling with the New Orleans Saints to France, and Mike thinks his return could be coming sooner than you think. Ja’Kobi Lane could take a step up with Lamar Jackson’s imminent return, and Jason thinks Lane will immediately be the Ravens’ WR2.

TEs

Andy brought up Chig Okonkwo while discussing Terry McLaurin, and he believes Okonkwo has the potential to be a weekly play. Hunter Henry has strung together a few solid weeks, and Jason thinks he is a good pickup.

Full Steam Ahead

Andy – Kyler Murray

The Minnesota Vikings are coming off of their bye week, so Kyler Murray is more likely to be available in your leagues. Andy thinks Kyler has looked better in recent games, and the matchup against the Indianapolis Colts should benefit him.

Mike – Baker Mayfield

The Carolina Panthers are 24th in schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed to QBs this season, and Mike is confident that Baker should be good to go in the first game back from injury. He’s rostered in 27% of leagues, and should be available to pick up off waivers.

Jason – C.J. Stroud

The Ballers all agree that C.J. Stroud was the best option for Full Stream Ahead this week. The Houston Texans are 10-point home favorites against the Giants in Week 7, and Stroud has been much better in games with Nico Collins this season.

Wednesday – Jacobs, Confidence Levels + Mailbag!

News

The Philadelphia Eagles signed Elijah Mitchell to their practice squad. Jordyn Tyson did not practice this week, but is expected to return soon. Terrance Ferguson is not expected to return from injured reserve after he becomes eligible next week. Josh Jacobs is expected to play this week after being removed from the Commissioner’s Exempt List.

Thursday – Starts of the Week + Week 7 Games, Lamar Watch!

News

Jonah Coleman was designated to return from IR and was a full participant in practice this week. Jeremiyah Love was a DNP on Wednesday and is not expected to play this week. Brock Bowers is dealing with a hamstring/calf injury and was limited on Wednesday. Saquon Barkley is expected to return in Week 7. Jordan Mason, Baker Mayfield, and Zach Charbonnet were full participants in practice on Wednesday.

Starts of the Week

Thursdays are when the Ballers give their weekly picks for starts of the week. The Ballers’ picks are meant to give you confidence in players you might have hesitancy to plug into your lineup for a multitude of reasons.

Fantasy Forecast

PIT @ NO (-3.5, O/U 44.5)

Andy believes the New Orleans Saints will get dominated in this game, and he is uncomfortable starting anybody on New Orleans other than Chris Olave. Mike’s starts of the week at RB and WR are both on the Pittsburgh Steelers, with Jaylen Warren and Germie Bernard. Tyler Shough and Aaron Rodgers are borderline top-12 QBs this week, while Pat Freiermuth and Juwan Johnson are the TE12 and 11. DK Metcalf is a good start after seeing high volume in games without Pittman Jr. and Roman Wilson.

IND @ MIN (MIN -6.5, O/U 41.5)

Andy is concerned with whoever plays the Minnesota Vikings in a given week, so he said this week is a Jonathan Taylor or bust week for the Colts. Kyler was Andy’s Full Stream Ahead QB, while Aaron Jones is his start of the week at RB. Jason believes Jordan Mason is a solid play this week, and a positive game script will benefit him.

TB @ CAR (CAR -3, O/U 44.5)

This week’s NFC South matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers projects to have a solid amount of fantasy-relevant players. Baker Mayfield was Mike’s Full Stream Ahead QB, but he will be without Emeka Egbuka. Chris Godwin will have the opportunity to have a good game without Egbuka, but Andy and Mike are against playing Godwin. Bucky Irving is Jason’s start of the week at RB.

CIN @ BAL (CIN -1.5, O/U 48.5)

Lamar Jackson’s potential return could change the outlook of this game. Joe Burrow is the Ballers consensus QB8 this week, and Chase Brown, Ja’Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins are all solid starts. However, be careful with Brown, as Samaje Perine out-carried him prior to their bye week. Derrick Henry is 132 rushing yards away from climbing up to seventh all-time and will be chasing that this week. Ja’Kobi Lane is worth a stash this week, with hopes that he flashes enough to consider starting him next week.

Friday – Show 2000! Week 7 Matchups + Wheel of Shame

Show 2,000!!!

The Fantasy Footballers have released 2,000 episodes! Over 86 full days’ worth of shows, 975 in-season episodes, 2,328 starts of the week, 108 My Guys, and 98% of episodes are effectively family-friendly.

News

Tyler Warren was ruled out for Week 7 with a groin injury. Breece Hall is questionable with a quad injury, while AD Mitchell will return from his finger injury. Jordan Mason, Baker Mayfield, and Dylan Sampsomn are expected to return from injury. Puka Nacua was added to the injury report with a calf injury and is uncertain to take the field for the Rams. Rashee Rice was ruled out due to hamstring and knee injuries.

Fantasy Forecast

GB @ DET (DET -3, O/U 53.5)

Jordan Love and Jared Goff are Andy and Jason’s starts of the week at QB. Tucler Kraft is Mike’s start of the week at TE, and there should be fantasy goodness for all in this NFC North matchup. The biggest question for the Packers is around Josh Jacobs and how many touches he will get. Start everybody in this game.

LAR @ LV (LAR -3.5, O/U 48.5)

The potential absence of Puka Nacua could change a lot for this game, so make sure to follow his status throughout the weekend. Matthew Stafford’s stock dips without Davante Adams, but Konata Mumpfield could benefit from Adams’ absence. Tyler Higbee is Jason’s start of the week at TE. Ashton Jeanty has averaged 22 opportunities per game and should be a solid start in Week 7.
KC @ SEA (SEA -3, O/U 42.5)

Kenneth Walker III’s revenge game comes in Week 7, with the Kansas City Chiefs traveling to Seattle to face off against the Seahawks. Walker III and Jaxon Smith-Njigba are obviously great starts in this game, but everyone else is a shaky start at best. Zach Charbonnet’s return muddies the water for all Seahawks RBs. Travis Kelce is probably the best play at his position, other than two superstars.

DAL @ PHI (DAL -4.5, O/U 44.5)

The Philadelphia Eagles are likely to be inconsistent now that Tanner McKee is their starting quarterback for the rest of the 2026 season. Saquon Barkley could return this week and will likely go right back into your lineup given how many injuries and bye weeks are coming up. DeVonta Smith’s 14 targets last week do inspire hope for his fantasy managers, but that should be it for the Eagles this week. George Pickens is Andy’s start of the week at WR. Start your other Cowboys, and try to replace Jake Ferguson, who averages 3.5 fantasy points in his five games without a touchdown this season.
