Each week, I will highlight my favorite cash game picks that I have some confidence in heading into the weekend to put into my player pools.
On the Fantasy Footballers DFS & Betting Podcast, Borg & Betz dive into a couple of these, but this article is intended for DFS Pass subscribers to get the full lay of the land. Check back on Saturdays as we narrow this pool of cash players to our DFS Best Plays, arguably the most valuable article in the DFS Pass. This slate is not the most exciting we have ever seen – bye weeks have arrived, we have another London game, and we have nine games below a 46-point total. Yet we soldier on.
Week 5 Bye:
Off the Main Slate:
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers @Dallas Cowboys
- Philadelphia Eagles @ Jacksonville Jaguars

Quarterbacks
Jared Goff @ AZ – $8100
Goff should be the main guy in cash this week, with the game against the Arizona Cardinals boasting the highest over/under at 54. And the stats back it up, with the offensive efficiency of Detroit on display and Goff ranking as the QB4 in expected fantasy points per game. Their defense has also left much to be desired, leading to Goff chucking the ball more often. We love that. The Cardinals’ defense is equally abysmal, allowing five points over expectation to opposing QBs (the fifth highest). This game is in a controlled environment, and Detroit is 4-0 in hitting the over. We love that team implied total of 30 as well – the highest on the slate.
