Targets Per Route Run: Week 15 (Fantasy Football)

Detroit Lions safety Brian Branch (32) breaks a pass intended for Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Ryan Flournoy (19) during the first half at Ford Field in Detroit on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025.

Welcome back to the weekly Targets Per Route Run Report. If you are reading this, you’re probably in the playoffs, so congratulations are in order. If not, then you’re a glutton for punishment. Go touch some grass, then come on back.

Quick refresher: TPRR = targets ÷ routes run. It’s an on-field efficiency signal that often leads production by a week or two. Throughout this series, if you see a percentage after a player’s name, that is his TPRR unless otherwise indicated.

As a general guideline, anything below ~20% is risky; 25–30% is excellent, and anything above 30% is elite territory.

Week 14 TPRR Leaders

Week 14 TPRR for WRs

Data: pff.com

Takeaways From Week 14

  • Michael Wilson (39% TPRR) resumed his dominance despite the Cardinals getting blown out by the Rams at home. The only blip in his recent run has been in Week 13, when Marvin Harrison came back briefly from injury. Harrison isn’t practicing this week, so Wilson (and Trey McBride, of course) could carry you through the first round of the playoffs.
  • Ryan Flournoy (35% TPRR) went O-F-F against the Lions in a game where CeeDee Lamb went out with a concussion and George Pickens…well, we’re not sure what was going on with George Pickens. Lamb is progressing through the concussion protocol and has a good chance to play, but I’d consider a spot start for Flournoy if Lamb isn’t cleared in time to take on the Vikings.

Week 15 and Beyond

  • I’m not calling Davante Adams a boom-or-bust player at this point in his career, I’m not, but ceiling is somewhat TD-dependent in the Rams offense. Week 14 showed us Adams’ floor when everything goes Puka Nacua‘s way, but his 23% TPRR on the season provides some comfort. The better news is that Adams is in the perfect offense for his end zone skill set, and you are just trusting that the targets and scores are spread around through the playoffs
  • I don’t know what happened during the Broncos’ bye week, but Troy Franklin has seemingly dropped to third choice among the Denver receivers. Despite posting a decent 23% TPRR in Week 14, the bigger picture is Franklin participating in only 17 routes. Compare that to Courtland Sutton (36 routes) and Pat Bryant (29 routes). With Franklin dropping down the depth chart, I’m leaving him out of my lineup. I’d also consider picking up Bryant while he’s widely available and see how Week 15 plays out.
