NFL DFS cash games are all about building a high-floor lineup that can win in head-to-heads, 50/50s, and double-ups. Each week I’ll highlight my favorite cash game picks that I have some confidence heading into the weekend to put into my player pools.

Quarterbacks
Quick note before we hop into the specific plays. This looks like a slate on DK where paying down is the preferred way to build. I would never fault anyone for spending up for Josh Allen, but at $7,500, he’s pretty much the only elite QB on the slate with guys like Hurts, Mahomes, Dak, Maye, Lamar, etc. all off the main slate. Meanwhile, Baker is less than 100%, Danny Dimes is playing through a fractured fibula…you get the point. Given that this is relatively speaking, a weak QB slate where the top of the price pool isn’t great, I’m personally trying to save money at QB and spend up elsewhere.
Jacoby Brissett $5,800 @ TB
The pass volume here is just too good to ignore. In his starts, Brissett has attempted 43.5 passes per game with Arizona leading the NFL in pass rate over expectation since Brissett took over for Kyler. Now, the Cardinals face off against the Bucs, who have inflated opponent pass rate for the better part of the last 2-3 years. We’ll see how Beef Brisket handles Todd Bowles’ dynamic blitz concepts, but it is worth noting that against the blitz this year, he’s fifth in passer rating, eighth in YPA, and he leads all qualified passers in completion percentage when the opponents send extra pressure. I do start to get a bit queasy trotting out a pocket passer career journeyman who’s approaching $6K, but the raw pass volume should keep Brissett in play this week.
