This article highlights plays that I believe have upside for large field GPPs at reduced roster percentages, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sprinkle in some cash plays into our GPP lineups as well. In fact, most of the best tournament lineups feature a combination of high-rostered and lower-rostered plays. For our full breakdown on DraftKings for Week 8’s cash games, be sure to check out our boy Matthew Betz’s cash picks here.
When building your GPP lineups, be sure to reference our Roster Percentage Report as well as our DFS Rankings to identify plays that have a solid projection yet may be undervalued by the field. To compete in GPPs, we’ll want to utilize a combination of cash plays and GPP plays to build solid lineups without sacrificing too much in the way of projection. Quarterbacks
Daniel Jones $6,100 vs TEN
Daniel Jones and the Colts are the story of the season thus far. The $6,100 price gets you enough flexibility to pay up for studs at other positions while also getting the same positional upside as the guys like Allen, Lamar, or Hurts. The four rushing TDs have helped him clear his PP$ in multiple weeks. Crazy to think, he is second in the league and only one behind Hurts. Jones’ 2.56% sack rate is the best in the league for QBs that started every game this season. Pair that with the fact that the Titans rank in the bottom 10 in the NFL in pressure rate at 26.88% and he should have plenty of time to make plays.
