For this article, I’ll be highlighting plays that I believe have upside for large field GPPs at reduced roster percentages, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sprinkle in some cash plays into our GPP lineups as well. In fact, most of the best tournament lineups feature a combination of high-rostered and lower-rostered plays. For our full breakdown on DraftKings for Week 6 cash games, be sure to check out our boy Matthew Betz’s cash picks here.
When building your GPP lineups, be sure to reference our Roster Percentage Report as well as our DFS Rankings to identify plays that have a solid projection yet may be undervalued by the field. To compete in GPPs, we’ll want to utilize a combination of cash plays and GPP plays to build solid lineups without sacrificing too much in the way of projection. Quarterback
Dak Prescott | $6,500 | @ CAR
Everything lines up for Dak this week. The DAL CAR game carries a 49.5 implied total, the highest on the slate, signaling a strong scoring environment with the Cowboys as FG favorites on the road. Carolina is dead last in the NFL in pressure rate (18.1%), which may lead to passing volume like it’s coming off a Costco pallet, considering the Cowboys’ already impressive 3.37% sack rate (seventh in the NFL). His passing production is on fire with the NFL’s second-best 1,356 passing yards. The only below-average metric on his profile is a 2.9% scramble rate, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It confirms that he’s staying within structure and delivering with precision, offering serious skinny/double stack options. Dak checks every efficiency box you’d want in a clean pocket matchup with a 26.25 implied team total and a defense that can’t pressure the QB.
