For the purposes of this article, I’ll be highlighting plays that I believe have upside for large field GPPs at reduced roster percentages, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sprinkle in some cash plays into our GPP lineups as well. In fact, most of the best tournament lineups feature some combination of high rostered plays as well as lower rostered plays. For my full breakdown on DraftKings for Week 12 cash games, be sure to check out my DraftKings cash picks here.
When building your GPP lineups, be sure to reference our Roster Percentage Report as well as our DFS Rankings in order to identify plays who have a solid projection yet may be undervalued by the field. In order to compete in GPPs, we’ll want to utilize a combination of cash plays and GPP plays in order to build solid lineups without sacrificing too much in the way of projection. Quarterbacks
Bo Nix $6,300 @ LV
Nix has been phenomenal for fantasy over the last month and a half. Since Week 5 when Nix played these Raiders, he’s averaged 22.2 DK points per game, and he’s flashed a big time ceiling, too, by going over 20 DK points in four of those seven starts. Vegas has quietly morphed into a pass funnel, facing the NFL’s second-highest pass rate over expectation this year, and against the pass, they’ve been terrible. Vegas has allowed the NFL’s sixth-highest completion rate, the eighth-highest QBR, and the 10th-most schedule-adjusted points to QBs.
