NFL Week 7 Weather Conditions (Fantasy Football)

Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers in Green Bay on Thursday, July 25, 2024.

Week 6 came and went with some decently impacted weather games. The Cardinals and Packers played through the rain and a few other games had some wind impacts which caused one to two missed field goals (it’s hard to know exactly if the wind caused it honestly, but it sure did look like it!). The good news is that outside of a couple of games, this weekend’s slate looks to be almost perfect weather. Read “Whether Weather Really Matters” and the forecasts below to figure out how best to set your lineup!

Morning Game (London)

New England PatriotsJacksonville Jaguars

HIGH impact.  The last game in London and it’s going to have the worst weather, go figure. It is shaping up to be persistent rain throughout the game, right now with a 95% chance of occurring over the stadium. Winds will also be a factor with sustained winds in the mid-teens gusting into the low-30s. If you can flex to another WR or K you may want to do it for this game.

Early Afternoon Games

Tennessee Titans @ Buffalo Bills

MEDIUM impact.  Clear skies, no chance of rain, and temps in the upper-60s. What’s the medium for? Winds my friend. Sustained winds will only be in the low-teens, but with gusts up to the mid-20s, I would expect some impacts for kickers. Nothing huge, just keep an eye on it prior to game time and be ready to flex.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Cleveland Browns

LOW impact. Beautiful day in Cleveland. No chance of rain, light winds, and a high temp in the low-70s.  Start all your studs.

Houston Texans @ Green Bay Packers

MEDIUM impact.  Another game with clear skies and comfy temps (mid-70s). However, similarly to the Buffalo game, winds will be up slightly higher with sustained winds in the low-teens gusting to the low-20s. It is unlikely to impact any QB or WR play, but kickers will feel it more.

Philadelphia Eagles @ New York Giants

LOW impact. Another beautiful game with light winds, no rain, and temps in the mid-70s.

Late Afternoon Games

Carolina Panthers @ Washington Commanders

LOW impact. Sunny skies, highs in the mid-70s, and light winds. It’ll be a great afternoon for football.

Kansas City Chiefs @ San Francisco 49ers

LOW impact. Another nice day for football (I would have been annoyed if weather impacted this game). Sunny skies, temps in the low-70s, and light winds. Start everyone.

Sunday Night Game

New York Jets @ Pittsburgh Steelers

LOW impact. Another beautiful game for Sunday. Temps in the 50s with light winds.

Monday Night Game

Baltimore Ravens @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

MEDIUM impact.  Winds will be the biggest issue on Monday night. Sustained winds will be in the low-teens with gusts up to the mid-20s. This will have an impact on kickers and cause some issues in the passing game. There are a lot of studs in this game, so it may be hard to flex, but if you have a viable alternative, it may be worth going with it.

Weather is a dynamic thing and can change! Keep an eye on your local weather source leading up to kickoff to see if anything changes significantly. Good luck!
